Mission and Goals

 

The Institute of Health Policy and Management (IHPM) at the College of Public Health, National Taiwan University, is dedicated to education and research. Our mission and educational goals are as follows:

 

Mission: To promote healthy public policies, create healthy environments, develop effective health promotion programs, and establish and maintain fair and efficient health systems for the enhancement of health and the fulfillment of the health rights of all people.

 

Education Goals: To nurture leading talents who value health equity and human rights and have global visions and professional competency in health policy and management.  Students are expected to possess professional knowledge and research skills, the ability to communicate and work in teams, and contribute to society.

 

Faculty

 

The IHPM currently has 12 core faculty members, eight adjunct professors, and several external visiting and adjunct faculty members who specialize in key areas of health policy and management areas.
